I stay late and I come in on my days off if needed. When the managers are absent Ive stayed late to help the store and assist when needed. My fathers been in the hospital and I tried to switch shifts for another day and she denied me and threatened to give me a point if I didnt prioritize my job.

We have developed communication skills and friendship.

Management has lacked effective communication.

The manager who interviewed me.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
We have the bond to accept the difference between friendship and authority so it makes things easier to listen to them since they know how to properly communicate.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
I believe the district manager makes it uncomfortable to work and and is unnecessarily rude to the employees so terminating her would be positively effective to the company.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I put a lot into this company and have stayed throughout the managers leaving and I have asked for a position promotion multiple times and have heard nothing back. As hard as I work and as much as I sacrifice I get nothing in return.
