Leadership is increasingly invested in the well-being of employees through a variety of initiatives - from free lunches once a week, to a fitness center, to very a comprehensive list of benefits. More benefits seem to be added every quarter, adding to the perks of working at the company.

The leadership team sets a strong vision, allowing for clear direction on goals and overarching strategy. I see them as a value to our company and its growth. With an open-door policy, I am able to get the resources and guidance to be successful.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Fortegra really cares about their associates. Between the free weekly lunches, the renovated gym, the generous time off, and more, it feels like a family.

What did you like most about the interview process?
At my on-site interview, the CEO, CFO, COO, and Director of Finance took the time out of their busy day to interview me in a panel format with other applicants. Alongside standard interview questions, they sincerely wanted to get to know me and understand my work ethic.

What would you most like to see improved at your company?
Making sure all of the leadership team follow the example set by CEO. In some departments the leaders are great at developing their team and providing opportunity, in other departments the leaders aren't not as good.
