What kind of interview questions do they ask when hiring someone in the Customer Support department at Giant Eagle?
Not very many they care about. Just want to know if you have open availability so the team leads and their friends can have every weekend off. Kids work every weekend. Runs with little employees as possible.
How helpful was your Customer Support team when you were first hired at Giant Eagle?
Horrible! Still is. No one cares about the customers because everyone actually working. Cant afford to live so tgey come to work with horrible attitudes and are rude. Over worked extremely under paid. Your exspected to do 3 and 4 jobs at once with no thank you let alone pay! No time for youd own family because you will have to have another job because you will not be able to support your family. The max you can make is $12 and thats with a decades of time with the company.
How does Giant Eagle measure success and growth in the Customer Support department?
They dont! Only to those who treat others with disrespect.
How are layoffs handled in the Customer Support department at Giant Eagle?
They ask long time employees of they would like to take a layoff. They cut hours in every department. Even if the location is already short staffed. The turn over rate at certain locations are supper high because of the ppl they allow to run the department's. Not too many ppl stay and tge ones that do are constantly looking for a way out. No over time unless your friends. Not enough pay for tge work load. Must have a second job to work for this company. They say tgey are a family company but they are not! Work 5 days a week surrounded by groceries but cant even feed your own family or even afford to shop at the company you work for because you dont make enough. They dont really care about their employees. They only care about money! A lot of bullying and intimidation from department leaders and their friends. Your given 2 to 3 different jobs a shift to do all at once with the lowest amout of pay possible. No employee incentives are given unless to their friends or family.
