The GIANT Company Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Vacation time accumulates each year. Health benefits are good. I also like the cash advance option.

Fair, everyone included, sick time

Paid every week and benefits are good

My 401k and retirement thanks

Bonuses actually are attainable annually

That they match what is put it in

401k for part time employees

We have an incredible company match and no vesting schedule for our 401(k) retirement benefits.

Definitely the health insurance coverage

The 401k is standard. The health benefits are above atandard

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

If your store manager would no how to treat his employees the address is 1700 Quinton rd Lebanon pa 17042

I would feel better if I made a little more, being as though I am a college student and struggling with school (about 15-16 per hour), especially since we only get a 15-minute (non-mandatory) break because there have been times when I've worked a 5-6 hour shift with no break.

Customers get away with too much! When I have to call a manager because they want one, to the register for a price check, the manager just gives the customer what they want. Making me look bad!

Better pay commensurate to employment duration, an employee discount for more than just produce, improved PTO accruals for part-time employees since full-time is difficult to achieve (or make full-time easier to achieve)

The whole structure of the business

we need a union to protect all employees

I work 32 to 40 hours a week average. I'd like to be treated like a full time employee with PTO and benefits. I feel like as soon as I got the threshold for yearly average they will cut my hours so they don't have to pay benefits

Just better management these people get promoted for no reason with apparently no training to speak of, they can not keep employees it's always a revolving door and when they do hire it's never for the right departments the departments that make the money always short handed

Men are paid more than female peers

When they can't hire reliable employees then we that do work are doing 3-4 times the work, we're not being paid 3-4 times the pay! Until the pay goes up this will not be fixed!During the entire year of 2020 we should have been given Covid pay! This company made a fortune off of us while that sat !

Review from Customer Support Dept

The company pays above minimum wage, but the work environment itself makes you feel so undervalued. There is absolutely no focus on employee morale at the store level to include all employees.

Review from Customer Support Dept

A real raise when I deserve it

Review from Sales Dept

Every other Grocery Chain has raised there minimum wage in the area to 13 and hour except for Giant we hire at 11, with few to no raises

Review from Product Dept

I feel I should be paid much more for what I do and the credentials that I have.

Review from Sales Dept

Well I'm only a part-time employee, I would be full-time and take advantage of benefits if available

Review from Customer Support Dept

should earn more money and be offered part time benefits

Review from Product Dept

I believe we should be paid a little more, especially dealing with rowdy and disturbed customers. Sometimes they don't show that you are appreciated, even though I do believe we are.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I feel over worked constantly, always trying my hardest . Management notices but will never voluntarily increase pay

Higher wages, fairness in scheduling, company reporting to employees what they are required to.
