The discretionary time off policy and the employee stock grants are the best things about the comp package. The stock program especially is a way to make every employee a stakeholder, which leads to more involvement and more investment from the staff.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Annual salary (base salary) increases need to be higher, especially when inflation is skyrocketing.

Make salaries equal to what the industry is paying for similar talent and years experience. Gogo Props for a job well done is not enough and is somewhat of an insult.

Our pay is still on the lower end of market value. Denver is now the most expensive non-coastal housing market in the US. This makes compensation a bigger hurdle to hiring.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Lots of company events to socialize and the free food is nice!

Gogo strives to find employees that are ideal culture fits and work well together. That reduces a lot of the friction that I have seen at other companies and helps achieve goals efficiently!

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
I think that having events like PI planning really help make the culture great by getting to see coworkers. Having more events like that or catered lunches would help bring more people into the office regularly. I also think for people to feel united and valued, giving more swag would help.

My manager needs basic training in management. Need more technical managers. My manager has lied to me a few times.
