Greystar – Overall, pretty good pay and benefits. I gross $60k/year as a leasing proffessional. You will have little work life balance however. They make you feel bad for taking time off. You are always meant to be "on". Not the worst but certainly not the best. | Comparably

What do you like best about the leadership team?

I love my manager, she is amazing. Shes supportive and knows how to lead her team. Upper management can be encouraging. Overall, they are pretty hands off with most of the on site teams.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Ive been with my team for a while and they are so undertstanding, kind and helpful. We have times where we butt heads but overall quality, hardworking people. Greystar hires some of the best.

What did you like most about the interview process?

Its mostly relaxed. The managers dont mind asking questions to get to know you personally and in my interview, we even joked around a few times. I think the interview is more serious than the work environment.

What makes you most happy at work?

My coworkers! And my hour long lunch break. I do enjoy interacting with customers. Due to the nature of the business, you meet all types of people, good and bad! It has given me insight and wisdom to be able to tackle any situation, confrontation, or business opportunity.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Our mental health and well being is not prioritzed. Even if you take necessary medical leave, they will not guarantee your job. It would make me feel more valueable if pay started at $20 for entry and increased by 5-10% each year based on performance. One more week of vacataion and paid maternity.
