Implementing the practice of being equally fair within a department. Special considerations like being "Grandfathered " in to justify what an individual employee (let alone a supervisor, which is suppose to lead by example) demands is not professional and creates greater issues amongst the staff.

My hourly rate was very fair. However, a supervisor or coworker can not be held to a different set of standards. You can not expect to be told how to do a job a certain way by a supervisor. Then the supervisor not do it at all or differently. Do as I say not as I do. Does not work.

Getting paid fairly for oncall weeks. Living on-site doesn't mean we are oncall all the time. Paid minute for minute when off-site guys get paid one hour minimum.

The maintenance team is great from supervisor to porter we are a small close nit team. As for the office all they do is complain about our work ethic and show up late every week, especially the general manager

Our general manager comes to work with a negative attitude and threatens us with write ups and termination. Constantly complains about maintenance blaming us for everything to the rest of office staff.

As previously mentioned, change. My supervisor was not comfortable with change. He is concerned more about "having time" to do something. Rather then addressing ongoing issues. Hes not making decisions that are best for the complex. Rather for his own work load. Talking behind people's backs ugh
