Working at Grindr has been a transformative experience in my career. I have never had the chance to be so authentically myself while doing work that I love. It is a place where passion truly meets purpose.

The people that I work with. They are really great.

Everyone here really cares about the company and the people here.

The welcoming and inviting atmosphere. The direct but compassionate approach to communication/collaboration.

My colleagues and the amazing work we are doing for the LGBTQIA+ community.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are hardworking and knowledgeable. But more-so - they are so open and welcoming. They really value me as an individual.

The compensation is very fair market. The total package is designed to put as much money back into employee pockets as possible.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The recruiter that I had was very good about keeping me up-to-date with where the process was going. I always walked into interviews feeling prepared.

The positive impact that we are having on the LGBTQIA+ community. The sense of innovation and the freedom to get to work on projects that I find interesting.

I love that they are so transparent with the company. It adds a wonderful layer of trust when leadership is open and consistent with their communication and updates to the company.

The company has a very competitive total comp package. In addition to base and equity, they offer 100% employer paid healthcare (a first for me), monthly meal and WFH stipends, and other great perks.

The leadership team is very transparent. The team is in front of the company every week and I get the sense that they are very genuine people. They also have a great approach to leadership.

There is a highlight for LGBTQIA+ benefits for employees. I love that Grindr has developed an inclusive benefits package for all employees and they continue to take feedback from their employees, and actually implement them.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team really cares about helping the LGBTQIA+ community. There is a sense of mission that resonates with people on the team that I have not had at other companies. It is refreshing to work somewhere that supports the queer community. The team also values new ideas.
