What makes you most happy at work?

Working with customers who are friendly and not in a rush so I can walk them through the options properly and get them set up right with what they want and need

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

We always like to create relationships with customers to allow them to think of us when they have any needs. I love to create that friendship with them so whenever they do need something Guitar Center is the first thought in their mind

What are some of the best things about your team?

Even though we have a lot of work, mostly everyone is willing to step up to help! Being understaffed is a challenge but our team makes the extra work easier together by sharing the burden. We are a family and thats what I love most about Guitar Center

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Our district manager is always available and stepping in when we have been needing of help. Even calling other store managers to step in and they do so. Sometimes I wonder if I would enjoy working more at other stores for them or with other leaders of Guitar Center

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I have recently been changed to a keyholder position due to reasons of the managers and gladly stepped up to help without any pay increase or added benefits. I am still working as a keyholder at the payrate of a floor sales and sometimes even open to close without a break and coded as part time
