How's the work pace at HCR ManorCare?
They constantly add tasks to a day because they are so short staffed because of how poorly they maintain the retention of their nurses. It's dangerous to the patients.

They are deceptive and will tell you what they think you want to hear in order to convince you that they are a great place to work, which is not true.
How flexible is your work schedule at HCR ManorCare?
Not flexible at all. If you don't account for every second of your day, they will take money out of your paycheck.
How does HCR ManorCare handle HR issues?
They threaten and bully their employees. There doesn't appear to be any legal or professional form of handling HR issues. They do everything they can to push employees to quit so they don't have to be concerned with paying unemployment.
What part of HCR ManorCare's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
This company has major issues retaining nurses because of how poorly they treat them. The management are bullies and the compensation for mileage and "on call" shifts is disputable with attorney representation.
What does the leadership team at HCR ManorCare need to get better at?
Morale. Diversity in leadership and life experience.

2007 sale of HRC to Carlyle and then 2016 sell-off of valuable real estate to HCP. Facilities are decaying. NO maintenance.

Corporate leadership is focused on profit rather than original founder mission to make profit AND provide customer service.

The Toledo, OH mindset. Management and HR benefit program out-of touch w/ needs and financial constraints of facility staff & costs of livin
