There is no leadership. They got rid of them all (Marketing, Finance, Operations, Technology, etc) and all that's left is Nick (Co-founder & CEO), Renee (Co-founder & CMO), HR & their investors.
Less focus on the bad. More focus on the good.
Our health insurance is fully paid for.
No frills, no retirement, no bonuses, just high salary and health insurance
Only major benefit is Health insurnace. And for a Health company which should care about patients and employees, the insurance is very sub-par.
The San Diego engineering team is highly talented and most collaborative team I've worked with. We get to work on latest technologies and methodologies, excellent managers.
Most of our coworkers are great. It's safe to say that a lot of people still work with Heal because for the most part, we have an intelligent & hard working team.
The camaraderie of the Engineering team is very high.
Many have tried extra hard to improve company culture but are limited because of Nick and Renee's core values. "Fun in the office" isn't really a thing; it's more "I know you're paid to work 8 hrs but I want you to work 10 because this is more important than your outside life."

Working with the amazing Engineering team on the newest technologies while tackling some of the most challenging problems in the industry, especially during COVID-19
Heal is such a great idea and has the potential to make a difference; just not under Nick and Renee's leadership. We need leaders who aren't stubborn but willing to listen, collaborate, empower, make unbiased decisions and allow the team to have lives outside of Heal.
