HealthPartners Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Very supportive leadership. Leadership listens.

Motivating, work on own schedule

fair, smart, focused on people

Collaborative and focused on well being

My supervisor is kind and understanding

Theyve all been in our shoes. Theyve done this role and now they lead our team. They are empowering, realistically challenge us, let us leverage our strengths, and cheer us on and appreciate us everyday.

Leaders treat employees with humanity and respect

Their focus on customer service and diversity. Customer service includes how employees are treated.

Review from Admin Dept

Morale is low. Low employee satisfaction.

Review from IT Dept

They always recognize what I do and give me feedback for what I need to improve

Review from Admin Dept

They are problem solvers at heart.

Review from Admin Dept

they try to save money and cut not needed wasteful money spending

Review from Operations Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Paying long term employees better than new hires

Communication! There's hardly any and its poor quality when it's there. They also need to improve at follow-up/follow through. Stop hiring friends/family with zero skills, and not teaching them skills and also refusing to discipline no matter the level of infraction, including drug use.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Communication, actually caring about staff vs the "bottom line" and remembering that staff are people too. Laughing at their problems, not helping when they are asking for help and they play favorites depending on the day theyre having and if they've hired their friends/family members.

Communication will have to get better.

Too many managers, not enough essential nursing staff

Too many leaders and managers who have learned how to “lead” from a book. Very few natural lead

Review from Operations Dept

I can't even think about that

Get rid of them. That's the first step

Leadership needs to make more of an effort to hold people accountable and do coaching, and not just do the job for them

Honesty, being transparent, valuing their employees

Questioning the way things have “always been done

Lower operational cost by eliminating in efficiencies due to organizational miss alignments. Improve customer experience by integrating services between insurance and care.

Review from Operations Dept

caring about the patients and staff and not just their salary. all they see is green. they don't care about the turnover rate of employees, and they don't care if patients get good care. they want to cram as many patients in as possible to get the money. its PATHETIC

Review from Customer Support Dept

Bringing people together to achieve what HealthPartners claims is its mission statement: head + heart
