There is an almost imperceptible but steady decline. Some quarters worse that others. I keep thinking that it cannot get much worse but am proven wrong time and time again. Either HEI cannot or will not fix issues. Either way, please let someone else take over operations at our property.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My coworkers. Mostly non management. Laid back atmosphere when its not busy.
What makes you most happy at work?
Laughing with coworkers, making guests stays particularly enjoyable and memorable, and being done for the day,
What do you like best about the leadership team?
We don't have a manager in our department right now due to lack of staffing. This is the best management situation we have had in years.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have a great team of support staff. Many have been here for many years. If they all leave, as many have, things would not be tolerable for the future most likely.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We could attract better workers with better pay/benefits. I will stay due to the mandated state/city minimum raises. The company should really get out ahead of these mandated raises before they are forced to each year.
