HEI Hotels Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They listen to the customers. They support growth within the company. Doors are always open.

Good team management that if there is a question they help you and lead you the right do in it

On their own each one of them is great....together it's a tug-of-war. Always seems like they are fighting the goals of one another

interpersonal and friendly to all employees

Instead of getting mad about things they will try to help you and s show you how to do it, right

management has our best interests in mind and recognizes hard work

Always there and all get along

My front office manager is the only good thing at the hilton new orleans airport hotel. Ivy lim is the worst gm i have ever had!!!

The only person i like is my front office manager becuase they work hard and try to make everyone's stay enjoyable. Thats more then i can say about the GM and other department leads.

We don't have a manager in our department right now due to lack of staffing. This is the best management situation we have had in years.

At property level, the leadership team is fun and wants to do well but they are held back by the corporate team and seem bitter. If they had more freedom things would be much more efficient and everyone would be happier overall- employees and hotel guest alike.

G.M is great. But his only flaw is giving employees benifit of doubt when their actions show they don't care about doing their job. When you see the same unacceptable behavior especially from management, he does nothing about it. Only makes excuses to justify the actions of managers who slack.

Review from Operations Dept

They keep up with the times and treat Directors Exception.

There is no leadership. Everyone works together to come up with a plan

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

often I would not even see for the GM for months because she had 2 other properties, even when she was on property she never left her desk.

Communication...... Do not enjoy when they do not explain from the beginning of what is expected..... Feel like they coax you into a position that isn't yours and make you feel like it was your job from the beginning

Review from Operations Dept

They should be qualified for the job they have been hired to do.

Listen to employees that ask for help. Dont help them in tasks they do not ask help for help them in the ones that they are. Instead of getting help on stuff known only to have me fogure out what i dont know and need help with since no proper training was ever provided

Listen to everyone and not try to be out the door everyday at 4:49pm while we all work 12+ hour shifts 24/7 for you

Communication and action. Everyone there has big plans and great ideas, but nothing ever gets done and hardworking employees get taken advantage of.
