I had 8 total interviews with all levels and felt very confident with all but the interview with the RVP. This person was unwelcoming and combative with my responses to the interview questions. I was unsure about the job. The original recruiter said after 50 candidates she hoped I'd get the job.

The HR department doesn’t call people back if they are
No interview at all, no drug testing of background checks
Don't automatically hire over the phone, don't let the interviewie ask "wait shouldn't I come in and interview in person?"
Be more truthful. No training besides videos provided, learn as you go, no support provided
Seem to be more enthused about a new person wanting to come work here.
Find people who have customer service backgrounds or prior hotel experiance especially if you are tossing them into a understaffed site.
Have more involvement from other departments and leaders.
Communication with prospective employees. I didn't know when my first day of work was until 4 PM the day prior.
