I've felt extremely welcomed from day one. I feel I've been given the reigns to create my role in the way I see best fit, but I also have the ability to ask for help and receive it quickly. My manager not only cares about my ability to get the job done but about me as a person as well.

I believe the compensation is fair and based purely on data and merit.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
There is a strong commitment to transparency and the obvious way we go about showing appreciation to our employees, our games, and our fans.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone works their tail off, but everyone is so quick to jump at the opportunity to help out in any way they can. We have a great way of collaborating that shows we care about each other and our craft.
What did you like most about the interview process?
That I got to meet with every person on the team and not just a few. I feel that gave me a great insight into not only the work but more importantly to me, with whom I'd be working on a daily basis.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We have a strong commitment to being relentless and fearless, but we also strive to maintain other core values such as being humble in everything we do. Despite what you think, it is definitely possible to exhibit all of those things, and I believe we do a great job of showing it.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel like gaming industry in general pays less than they should based on the employee's passion for gaming. People want to work for a gaming studio, so they feel they can take less money to do so. I believe Hi-Rez has a tendency to take advantage of that in some situations.
