The work is fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding and it is really cool to be a part of a growing startup with a grand vision. I have learned a ton while working here and have had countless opportunities to step into leadership roles and influence the direction of the company.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
In the short-term, the unlimited vacation is a really great perk. In the long-term, I think the stock options will be valuable too
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that the leadership is very transparent about both successes and failures. I also think that the long term vision of the company is both great for employees and great for the consumer.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have a really collaborative environment and my coworkers are incredibly smart and driven. I feel like I can learn from the people I work with and also just enjoy the experience of working with them everyday
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is a good culture of transparency and responsibility. People care about doing the right thing and also aren't afraid to speak up and disagree respectfully, no matter who they are disagreeing with (another coworker, manager, executive, etc)
What makes you most happy at work?
I really like that I am able to make an impact with the work I am doing. I get to have ownership of projects that impact millions of people on a daily basis which is a pretty cool feeling.
What did you like most about the interview process?
We try to get a more holistic view of an engineer that isn't just whether someone can solve a certain coding problem or not. Each interview is probing a different area of expertise to try to get a well-rounded picture of the candidate.
