What did you like most about the interview process?

Doing and presenting the homework gave me a good sense of what it would be like to work at Hiya and whether I would be successful in the role

It was really organized. I knew what to expect and when I would hear back. I got to meet a lot of different people.

The interview process is comprehensive given the time allotted.

The recruiting team was very responsible and set expectations clearly down my interview cycle.

Every interviewer was very nice and respectful. It felt more like mutual discovery rather than 1-way grilling.

The ability to meet with different team members across the org.

The interview process was quite long and very extensive so this also gave me the opportunity to learn a lot about the company and its culture.

There was a focus on meeting as many of the people I would be working closely to as possible.

Professional but kind of low key, no desire to trick anybody or waste the candidates' time.

I appreciate our interview process is more focused on trying to evaluate the candidate on what they actually require to do the job (e.g. not just LeetCode questions)

Interviews and meetings with folks not only on my single team allowed me to understand the company more as a whole.

Everyone was very friendly and competent.

It was thorough and I met with all the key people I would be interacting with

I liked that I got to interview in a collaborative environment.

It was organized and I was kept informed of my status. Interviewers were engaged and efforts were made to wrap things up quickly...it wasn't long and drawn out waiting for someone's schedule to clear up to schedule an interview.

Phone screen process allows us to effectively get the best candidates in for full in-person interviews

As early team member at Hiyan, the most difficult process was believing the vision since product market had not been achieved yet on some of our products
