Home Goods Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Like I have said before everyone seems nice and cheerful when engaging with each other, makes it worth coming to a good environment.

i think it has always been a team effort on my job.

Everyone is treated fair and fell valued

I immediately felt welcomed in to the team, everyone works their part like a machine. Ive worked in many team like situation, i have never seen a very divers group work so well together.

The store managers are always on the floor helping

THEY DECORATE THE BREAK ROOM FOR DIFFRENT EVENTS

The employees who work there

Nothing, Debbie is a terrible, self absorbed so called leader and her sidekick Ambrea treat employees unfairly and both women are miserable

Getting to leave when its time to go home

Our environment is very good

Thats tough because there is little to no postivity. The company preaches culture. Yeah sure, we're all different and I like that but it all dissapears when we're dragged through hell and back.

Management gets us going and excited about where we are at in the company's goals, and they make a big deal of it and make noise when we go above and beyond most times.

The sense of us all being a team.

They do encourage you to do better. Try to get you to encourage you to get more credit cards. Sometimes it feels like pressure.

Understanding compassionate managers coworkers customers excellent workplace

When I clock out, or have the day off.

Working on diversity and meeting new cultures and learning new things

Review from Sales Dept

There are people that work well together. But they retain those that are hurtful,

The company isnt the worst when it comes to recognition of good employees, however there is a lot if room for improvement.

Associates are the most valuable asset

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

There needs to be a fairness with all employees and corporate needs to Understand that without us employees they have no business

Better management and key holders.

better leadership to have more employees enjoy working there. leave good working conditions for employees. what is that bullshit backroom you gave us? why can you not buy a new compactor instead of having us struggle with a 50 year old one. selfish company.

Better management. To actually care about the products and people instead of ignoring it.

They need way more people to work. More management. Better communication, organization, leadership and constructive criticism.

Career pathing and development lacking. Popularity contest when it comes to career progression. No clear paths.

Review from Operations Dept

Need to be more understanding

Review from Sales Dept

There is too much drama. They do not see the good in everyone. Everyone has something good about them.

more respect needs to be given
