It would be an amazing career if they would control the favoritism and politics. Children working for their parents, wives working for their husbands, etc. It is not fair for the rest of the employees.

Stop the conflict of interest relationships and make it about selling groceries.

They need to lead instead of "liking or disliking" someone based on personal reasons. It should be about business. Not personal relationships.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
You will be treated based on the boss's personal interpretation of you. Not by the quality of your work. If you are a pretty girl you will be treated well. Or if you are a friend or family member of the boss.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There is no acknowledgment or bonus for any one. You are expected to work until you are so exhausted and just can't go anymore. You will never be thanked unless you are a favorite. You will only be criticized. This company is based on favoritism, not business.
