Executive Bio

Mr. Christopher S. Edmonds, also known as Chris, has been Senior Vice President of Financial Markets at Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. since November 12, 2013. In this role, Mr. Edmonds oversees the development of initiatives within ICE's exchange listed and OTC financial markets, including all futures and options, credit derivatives, ICE Link and ICE Swap Trade. Mr. Edmonds served as the President of ICE Clear Credit LLC and The Clearing Corporation Inc. (TCC) from February 2010 to November 2013. He served as the President of ICE Trust U.S. LLC since February 2010. At ICE Trust, he oversaw ICE's U.S. credit derivatives clearing operations. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of International Derivatives Clearing Group, LLC (alternate name: LCH.Clearnet (US) LLC) until January 2010. Prior to joining ICE in February 2010, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of the International Derivatives Exchange Group LLC. He served as the Chief Development Officer for ICAP ENERGY LLC. He held a variety of positions at ICAP from 2002 to 2008 and APB Energy LLC from 1997 to 2002. His professional career prior to APB Energy focused on advising businesses on strategic planning in the areas of technology, sales and marketing and operations. Mr. Edmonds holds Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is Series 3 and Series 30 licensed.
