Executive Bio

Mr. Yi Shyan Lee has been Executive Adviser to OUE executive chairman since January 1, 2017. Mr. Lee served as Chief Executive Officer of International Enterprise Singapore until April 2006. He joined the Economic Development Board (EDB) in 1991, where he held senior positions. After EDB, he served as the Deputy Chief Executive of the Singapore Productivity and Standards Board, before joining International Enterprise Singapore a year later in 2001. He started his career at the Ministry of Defence as a systems engineer in 1987. He has been Non-Independent & Non-Executive Chairman at International Healthway Corporation Limited since July 17, 2017. Mr. Lee has been Chairman of ICE Futures Singapore & ICE Clear Singapore at Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. since November 24, 2016. He has been Chairman of Singapore Mercantile Exchange Pte Ltd. since November 24, 2016 and has been its Director since November 7, 2016. He has been Deputy Chairman of OUE Hospitality REIT Management Pte. Ltd., since January 12, 2016. He has been Chairman of OUE Hospitality Trust Management Pte. Ltd. at OUE Hospitality Trust since November 28, 2017 and served as its Deputy Chairman since January 12, 2016 until November 28, 2017. He served as a Director of International Enterprise Singapore. He has been Director of OUE Hospitality Trust Management Pte. Ltd. at OUE Hospitality Trust since January 12, 2016.He served as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director at OUE Limited since January 12, 2016. Mr. Lee is an MP for East Coast GRC. The former Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry and National Development stepped down from his ministerial posts last October after suffering from a mini stroke in May last year. He studied Chemical Engineering in the National University of Singapore in 1997. He completed an executive management programme at the Harvard Business School and a management programme at Tsinghua University in 2001.
