You could ask line pilots for their opinion before you activate sweeping SOP changes. It never feels like you asked the line operators before you make changes...
Pilots here have a pay and benefits package that is significantly below the market rate earned by other US major airlines. I would feel better about my compensation if JetBlue would expeditiously offer a long overdue market rate contract to the pilot group.
Acknowledge the fact that pilots can make or break your operation, so offer us a market rate contract soon. We do not feel valued, and therefore are not helping the operation...pay us the minimum, and you get what you're paying for...mediocre, unmotivated work. Pay us the market rate now!
