Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Base pay not particularly competitive, company says travel privileges make up for it but nothing can take the place of salary
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Real, meaningful communication, not pre-canned messaging. Tell it like it is, don't sugar coat and pretend things are great when we're in trouble
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Really friendly office environment, the people are great and you can build real professional relationships and friendships. Many coworkers become genuine friends outside of work
What are some of the best things about your team?
Great colleagues at the individual contributor level. Lots of smart, driven, and caring people who want to do great things, though often hampered by weak leadership
What did you like most about the interview process?
Interviewing was smooth and easy, had a good, natural conversation with the manager and director for the role. Got a quick tour of the office as well which I loved because I got to see people in their actual work environments.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Management has made a series of very bad decisions that have absolutely destroyed employee morale, damaged our public image, and eroded the culture of the company. People are the most unhappy I have ever seen, most are seeking jobs elsewhere as a result.
