Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Because my management told me im under valued and would never succed beyond the position Im in

Worked there for a decade and I've never been properly trained, I've only received a 3% raise in my 2nd year there and never received another raise after. Skeleton crews and poor scheduling, screening management etc all made what should've been easy work unnecessarily harder than it had to be.

Jewel has become political behing the scenes. Store directors protect department managers even in unethical situations. When issues are reported there is retaliation and associates have no one to discuss these issues with beyond a 800 number that leads to a dead end.

I cannot use my benefits because I received no insurance card to use them. I have been paying 50 dollars a month for years for nothing.

I am overwhelmed with the amount of work expected of me, being in a suburb I don't even get paid Chicago's minimum wage for an "admin position"

Review from Admin Dept

After 43 years i should be making MINIMUM $27 an hour

Better pay and more appreciation would be a start.

As the stores continually lose good help, the workload increases, yet wages stay stagnant. While management puts pressure on the remaining skeleton crews to increase production and drive sales of the products that are also increasing in price

Due to the covid , i do belive that we deserve more than a tiny bonus in the new year i believe that every employee can use a raise that coinsides with there hourly weeks worked

Give us a raise. I'd rather work in the nursing home again.

Taco Bell pays 5 an hour more.

I'd feel better about compensation if I was compensated for my time, I haven't earned a penny at this dump

Associates who have invested years in the company make as much as teens coming in as there first job. Seniority/ postion should be paid more. Job rules should apply to everyone.

Batter pay will ba a good start. Sick pay, and a way to get into maniment faster.

My money I worked for all the hrs and days I put in

Give bonuses to management that don't get bonuses, I'm referring to union employees. Plus the union at Jewel Osco is horrible!

Expected to run a department with no official title and barely any raise. Told i was getting fill time in two weeks and it took over two months. Not paid fairly for my work and not treated as if they recognize or respect the work i put in.

Get with the times. As absolute as you treat your employees this store is also there are way to many other options to shop. Jewel always feels like it's stuck in 1970's not in a good way

A raise would make me feel better especially during COVID

Pay your employees more , we’re working during a pandemic and the company have made huge progress and mon
