Enforcing standards. Expecting more of those who do less work, rather than expecting more of those already do the most work. Demanding maturity and shutting down bickering and backbiting. Leading hy example.
Telling the truth! Not lying on their team or to their team
Standing up for their employees
Communication, treating associates fairly, and ethics
Overall employee morale. Fire them all!!!

I make only slightly more than people with far less experience, who are are far less productive.
Because my management told me im under valued and would never succed beyond the position Im in
Worked there for a decade and I've never been properly trained, I've only received a 3% raise in my 2nd year there and never received another raise after. Skeleton crews and poor scheduling, screening management etc all made what should've been easy work unnecessarily harder than it had to be.
Jewel has become political behing the scenes. Store directors protect department managers even in unethical situations. When issues are reported there is retaliation and associates have no one to discuss these issues with beyond a 800 number that leads to a dead end.
If they were properly trained, that alone would be an improvement. Communication, and a willingness to ask and learn.
I dont have the same co workers ever. The turn over is so high
BEING A TEAM IS IMPORTANT!!!! BEING AWARE OF HOW YOUR CO-WORKERS ARE TREATING THE OTHER CO-WORKERS.
Its more on the managers to show the workers how to improve. A lot of times family workers make newer workers do their job. Even managers hide in the breakroom while bee workers/non family members get treated differently. Would be improved if everyone worked together instead of one worker doing it.
hire normal people but you need to rice pay
Listening more to the employees in the stores
Management with experience. Management that have been with the company for many years, Not just anyone of the streets
Needs a higher payroll for the store
New management theyre to comfortable
Fair compensation to keep employees
Because it was during covid everyone had to wear a mask. For whatever reason i was asked to remove my mask but when i asked others about their interview they werent asked to remove anything. The interview process should be fair and judge for skills not for what my lips or nose look like.
do drug tests and check background of new hire
Clean house from the top of the company
Employees don't care because the company barely pays them to show up
Review from Operations Dept
change the store director, president and district managers or rotate them
All current problems the management sees in relation to production and sales numbers dropping can be easily solved by HEAVILY increasing the wages of the remaining workers. Especially the ones who have put in many years with the company and now make the same rate as new hires
Hire more people. Pay people better.
transparency accountability psychology separating work from home life
