Transparency. Ahad and Mahesh are both unafraid to share details and motivations behind decisions.

The people are so supportive and even-keeled. It's really easy to feel at home

Again—just how down-to-earth everyone is. Everyone keeps in mind we're all on the same team

The team is flexible & capable. But the *best* thing is everyone is down-to-earth. No one imagines themselves as faultless or perfect.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The benefits are the best. Matching 401k and 100% of healthcare premiums (with great plan options) is really great and a cut above many other companies!
What makes you most happy at work?
Having focus time to get make progress on non-trivial tasks is what makes me most happy. Unfortunately I don't get a lot of focus time these days.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Honestly I think it's been great to see new leaders at Kajabi. I love how transparent they are (and frankly even more transparency would be great!) and earnest and caring.
What are some of the best things about your team?
People are nice. They're grownups. They're capable. They don't take themselves too seriously but they also want to do the best they can. And everyone has a sense of levity and good humor.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Inflation last year was 8%. "Performance-based" raises were 3%. Market is STILL hot for engineering and product roles (even after some companies have announced layoffs and freezes). I believe I could get +50k base and +100k equity, even at small-to-medium companies.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Total compensation is getting much better with equity grants being rolled out and bonuses recently being rolled out, so hats off to management on those improvements. Unfortunately base salary still lags behind the overall market. And our equity grants are not back-dated.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Relatively good transparency. I'm rarely like "why the heck are we doing x?" though sometimes I do wonder "why the heck are we NOT doing y?" though of course we can't do everything and we have to force-rank by priority. At least I think our execs priorities are good.
