Mr. Achal Agarwal has been President of Asia-Pacific Region at Kimberly-Clark Corporation since 2012. Mr. Agarwal is responsible for Kimberly-Clark Corporation's consumer business in Asia-Pacific region. He has been President at Kimberly-Clark Asia Pacific Headquarters Pte Ltd since March 2012. He is the President of Kimberly-Clark's Asia Pacific consumer business. He has over 30 years of experience in leading large, complex business turnarounds in multi-cultural environments and creating scale through market share growth, while building a legacy of empowered leaders. Mr. Agarwal joined Kimberly-Clark from PepsiCo, Inc. where he served from March 2008 to June 2008 as Business Unit General Manager, Sub-Saharan Africa Beverages and Snacks and as Chief Operating Officer, Greater China Beverages from 2005 to February 2008. Before joining Kimberly-Clark in 2008, Mr. Agarwal led PepsiCo's businesses in India, Greater China and Sub Saharan Africa. From 2008 to 2012, he served as President of K-C North Asia. He is a Board Member on Singapore International Chamber of Commerce, WWF-Singapore, various entities of K-C including Kimberly-Clark Lever Ltd (JV with Unilever India) and is on the Advisory Board of the Antai College of Economics & Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He has been an Independent Non-Executive Director of SATS Ltd. since September 1, 2016. Mr. Agarwal's leadership Kimberly-Clark has been honored with several awards across APAC for its business performance, HR practices, sustainability initiatives and innovations ' be it the Most Admired Company in Korea; the Best Place to Work for in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Vietnam; Environment Sustainability in Singapore, Australia & Korea; Corporate Citizenship & Innovation in China; Effies in Singapore, Hong Kong & Korea recognizing marketing innovation and its brands consistently being featured among the Most Trusted Brands across the region.
