King Soopers Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Health insurance and retirement fund

The pay was fair and I made a good living.

401 k is the best

Pay amount for hourly associates

I enjoy the discounts and extra discounts from popular brands such as Samsung

The health benefits are affordable and the doctors I get to see are very good.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Health insurance is above average

Low health coverage for next 3 yrs

Health Care and a retirement plan

I am 4 yrs from retirement. Like the 401K

My favorite thing about king soopers is the small percentage off of private selection ice cream

401k match. Could be better though.

Review from Sales Dept

I like the compensation package we have.

Review from Sales Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I would just like to see better management and hours

This company doesn't actually care about you, they only care about the money they get off of our blood, sweat, and lots and lots of tears.

My team is put down and are told we are not really working at all just standing there.

The amount of work load has increased but the amount of staff has decreased. That the starting compensation needs to be higher and that if hours were going to be cut why cut the backend of people like the deli and grocery when if you don't have enough of those backend people your stocking suffers

Yes. I do the job of a department manager, but have no authority over co-workers. I am the anchor, and do the most work at the fuel center. It is often frustrating. I wish I could be given a title, but it is non-existent at my store.

I have to do GMS Work as a foreman becaude evryone quit on them

Compensation mirrors top executive pay at 15 - 1; 1% ahead of inflation pay increase Days off- Fed and State holidays; 1 personal day added for each 5 yrs Say thank you in person not over intercom Celebrate longevity w/ food & rewards Include Union ppl in group benefits available in non-union store

Feeling like i'm more than another paycheck and not having my benefits revoked every time something in the company or a family emergency makes me miss hours.

If I was paid more

I work part-time I do not recieve compensation or benefits.

They steal time from you and then dont pay you for your work

We shouldn't have to renegotiate our Union contract every 3 years there should be longer contracts than that. Also there should be a five to six dollar an hour raise across the board if King Soopers has recorded record profits for 3 years straight.

Attitude of manager. They dont care and will continue to push great employees out

Obviously hero pay throughout the pandemic would be nice. Also there should be motivation to share the record setting profit the company earned last year. A $100 bonus you have to spend in store does not cut it in my book.

Review from Sales Dept

I actually don't receive benefits. That's for long time employees.

Review from Sales Dept

Overworked, yelled at when there's nothing we can do, always asked to stay late with no notice, don't get all breaks most of the time, called in on days off, unreliable staff, unreliable management

Review from Sales Dept

Stock options, benefits that are affordable

Review from Customer Support Dept

If I had a raise of a dollar more per hour

Pay starts at minimum but its one of the most stressful jobs iv had where i feel like i have little to no worth and spend most the day getting yelled at by customers for things that are out of my control. Benefits take a full year to get, not great benefits either.
