Management is rarely friendly The work atmosphere is not positive and up beat You are expected to get excited about any new program that comes along even if it was tried 10 yrs ago and was not that successful Promises are empty and you can be a "hero" one second and a "problem" the next

What makes you most happy at work?
My particular job is good in that I get to do many different things some of which, in other depts, only managers do I have some autonomy over how I prioritize my work It troubles me that I value autonomy more than compensation Most valuable/satisfying though are the ppl I work with
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Compensation mirrors top executive pay at 15 - 1; 1% ahead of inflation pay increase Days off- Fed and State holidays; 1 personal day added for each 5 yrs Say thank you in person not over intercom Celebrate longevity w/ food & rewards Include Union ppl in group benefits available in non-union store
