I love the personal touch they give to the company as a whole. It's a large company, yet they make it feel like family and value each person individually. I love the employee/people-focused mindset that seems to be present.
My VP and GM are both women. I love to see successful women leaders!
They inspire us every day.
We work together as a team
Accessibility - easy to contact and communicate.
being more focused on the responsibilities of each employee. One employee shouldn't be expected to be responsible for the responsibilities of 3 positions while there are people sitting around doing nothing
Division of labor, diversity of talents
There is an extreme lack of communication and consistency from the sales manager which handcuffs many other departments
Putting more effort into culture and give the compensation employees deserve
Customer service, communication, career development, education
I am so appreciative for the increases each year, and also the extra income from commissions and bonuses. I love that compensation is reviewed each year with an opportunity to discuss any desired changes - which are in turn, fairly evaluated and not disregarded.
There are lots of options to choose from.
Benefits / Holidays and Incentives
Our compensation package is always being reviewed and revised for improvement.
It is competitive to other companies
I have been with the company for 10 years. The cost of living is so high right now, and I am disappointed we have not seen any consideration of that in our yearly increase. As a non-commissioned employee, we have been busy and are having a banner year, yet I am feeling very depleted and struggling!
It is unfair that I have to take on and be responsible for 3 positions (charting, digital scheduling, art process, ordering, etc). I got one raise 3 months into starting at Lamar but this was before I even was given these additional responsibilities and nothing since gaining more responsibility
I do many tasks around here that no one else can/wants to do, and I've never been given any incentive/pay increase, other than keeping my job, to do them. What would make me feel better is to actually pay me for every new task you assign me that they didn't hire me to do.
Getting paid a little more to compensate the sometimes heavy workload would make me feel more valued. Also, the standard of living is at an all time high right now and raising the pay rate would ease that pain as well.
A new office manager came in recently and has been struggling with learning her work duties. I therefore have been doing all that work, which I do not mind but it would only be fair for me to have an increase in pay for having more responsibilities if the managers pay didn't decrease for having less
I love the family-feel of our entire team. Even if there are other Lamar employees I've never met - I instantly feel connected to them like family. When there are crisis' across the country and Lamar employees need assistance, the entire team chips in. I love how we all care about each other.
Lamar is a family! It is so wonderful to work with so many awesome people! I wouldn't trade my coworkers for anything!
We are work together very fluently.
We treat each other with respect
We have a Green Jacket recipient on staff - it's great to have successful, long time employee team members to have as mentors.
There are two solid coworkers that help out and do their part. supposedly I am supposed to be working with someone else to split workload but everything gets sent to me while she sits around. And management doesn't care or get involved in separating the work or increasing my pay
Lower their voices when in the office, the yelling from office to office to have simple conversations needs to stop. They need to be considerate to others.
Many members of the sales team have very poor communication with other departments and do not reply to emails which causes a delay in accomplishing simple tasks
Impossible to tell....Plant is micromanaged by the GM.
Not that the coworkers need to improve. More so, the management team. The coworkers just come in to get their pay check, everyone is out for themselves.
The work-life balance, and importance shown to the outside lives of employees. It's not a cut-throat culture where you need to work as hard and long as you can and burn yourself out while ignoring your personal needs in order to prove your value. Also love the company's desire to grow and adapt.
I think in general, everyone who works here knows that we have good benefits, we work for a good company, and I would venture to say most feel like we work with good people.
We are work towards the same goal to satisfy our customers.
I like to think a health environment
Community involvement and mutual respect among the team.
manager needs to either be more aware of the faults and lack of effort by certain team members. I shouldn't have to be responsible for overseeing how others work and making sure they are working. Less effective employees need to be addressed and management needs to be changed if this continues
HYBRID SCHEDULE and/or more flexibility
Actually care about the safety and wellbeing of all your coworkers and subordinates instead of just saying it to Ops in a safety meeting or on a kiosk. Follow corporate guidance on safety in teams, better strobe lighting on trucks would improve the appearance that management cares about your safety.
No room for work life balance; company won't change policies to be consistent with current and post-Covid work (no hybrid schedules are allowed and only chosen corporate staff are allowed to work from home)
Maybe do celebrations, maybe have a contest on best decorated cubicle for a theme or holiday.

I enjoy being in a role that allows me to utilize my strengths and efficiently help my team achieve its' goals. I am most happy when I feel my contribution to our team and company as a whole. I'm happy when unique opportunities present themselves to showcase or practice new skills.
Getting things completed in a timely fashion.
The progress of our team
Accomplishing goals - meeting projections!
There are some nice people who work here
I am burnt out & broke. Financially, this has been the toughest year yet! The cost of living is just out of control and it's hard to stay positive when things don't seem to be getting any better!
I should not be expected to work 3 different positions with no help. Things keep getting sent to me and the only time I get recognized or talked to is when something goes wrong (90% not my issue, someone else's fault). Manager is unaware of what really goes on and the morale here is terrible
Sales team is not cohesive, different rules exist for different employees
flex schedules would be nice. It would be nice if the office staff wasn't a go between when things need to be looked into.
the General Manager is an extreme micromanager
