Big company with a small family business feel
Lamar gives you the opportunity to make decisions like you are one of the owners of the company which is special because most companies tell you what to do. I believe this one quality that sets Lamar apart from other companies.
Executive - not much communication or interaction with them. Local - Best manager I have had. Leads, encourages, appreciates. Regional - not as in tune with local needs.
They are very understanding people
Open communication, honesty, direction and willing to listen to other ideas.
Putting the employees first , not the officers of the company
Leadership, knowledge of local market
Participation in the discounted Employee stock program
Paid holidays are nice. PTO doesn't increase when you have been here more than 10 years - but if you leave for a new company you can negotiate that. Prescription coverage is not as great as it was. My health issues could affect my work performance, and I am actively trying to prevent that.
Quality of life Lamar provides. The stock program.
The commission structure for the real estate department
Compensation is competitive, perks are outstanding
Inflation is tuff deal with the standard cost of living increases given.
Because I began in my current role at the starting salary, I am now paid less than many in a similar position with much less experience. The maximum annual salary increase of 3%, does not allow the salary to remain competitive, especially with the level of experience I bring to the position.
I believe I am paid less than comparable positions in smaller markets.
It seems Lamar values their stock value more than their employees. Employees who have made Lamar the company it has become.
If there were more opportunities for Lease renewals and or new leases
willingness to sacrifice for the benefit of the team
They always tell you the truth and they are encouraging.
They are very enjoyable and ahrd working
Everyones opinion matters during a discussion
They are just like family
Some coworkers are given too much leeway with attendance and other issues because discipline is so touchy. I know there are processes and steps, but I don't feel like we take them we just move the work to reliable others, which causes burnout.
We simply don't have much in common. There is nothing wrong with my coworkers and our relationship.
They need to have better experience when hired for a specific job.
Invites to meetings, knowing the company strategy and goals
I do not have any suggestions
The positivity is from the top down
Our team seems to really care about each other When one struggles our teams steps ups and encourages each other.
a majority of our team cares and is invested in success. I do quickly see that waning as others who are not bring it down.
The work atmosprer is very positive
fast pace, easy to communicate and laugh.
Not being chained to a desk all day

When things go according to plan and everyone delivers their part

Getting the job done and looking forward to the next challenge
Every day is going to be different
More challenging work, flexible work schedule, work from home options, financial incentives
