Landry's Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The team we have huilt in each other. Servers and bartenders are one. We even do well with back of the house staff. We disagree a lot but we support each other for the most part

The teamwork is above and beyond

At least the people are fake friendly

There is none. Management creates a very oppressive environment.

The people are beautiful... from all over the world, loved the experience of meeting a great deal of the front of house... great people big hearts... they love to take advantage of... just sad...

Review from Operations Dept

There is a camaraderie among the staff and when there were things in place to help the staff instead of slowly making the job difficult, that's when the restaurant runs like a well oiled machine. The company does not add anything positive to its restaurants, they only add negatives

Our team members lift each other up

The front of house is very good energy

My team works together well

Pay was good but the culture lacked compassion or genuine empathy towards employees

Nothing at all, absolutely nothing

interaction w coworkers day to day

Tips and my white shirts

Review from Sales Dept

Landrys Dedication to Customer service,

We all have a good time at work

when GM and manager are not there

The tram before new GM, and tbe comminity that helps complete us. Its a steadily busy restaurant, but when under threat, hard to offer true engagement and hospitality. So many of our emolyees are suffering or quitting. Negative reviews are starting to come in because new GM. Please do something.

I feel accepted and free to have fun. There are so many different walks of life and ages represented and I feel like I'm in a safe environment. Guests come in and we all work with our differences to make a great impression.

Supportive team players always helped where needed

Most of the managers are very positive and great to work for.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

New ideas, fresh management. Glenn Davis needs to be checked on more frequently on how he runs the store and what he chooses to allow to take place there.

Review from Sales Dept

Mangement needs quality leadership training

Absolutely needs training on how to manage a team

The sous chef and head chef has to go they have been getting away with to much for too long

What needs to change is the nepotism and delegation of duties according to personal relationships within the workplace

Upper management needs to know what leadership is. Iron fist leadership is a thing of the past

A bridge of communication from the employees to management. An actual system where the managers are hands-on instead of letting other servers do their jobs. Create a culture of sustainability through positive energy and hard work

Taking care of the employees that earn the company a few million each year not the pencil pusher that hasnt worked kitchen in awile if at all

Management is the main problem. There needs to be a more understanding with those under them. Actually listen to what the situation entails instead of drawing their own conclusion before all of the facts are drawn. Less favoritism. More equal treatment off staff.

On the way to work everyday/ I wonder what negative comment my management team will greet me with upon arrival

Review from Operations Dept

better management and more respect for employess

Review from Operations Dept

An entire change in executive management and a redirection in the whole culture

More customer focused and friendly staff. Better managers who care about their team members instead please upper managements numbers!

The GM's attitude, treatment of the team as a whole including her managers should be treated way better, stop neglecting team members when they have issues and the discrimination of what guests receive the best treatment. Race shouldn't matter when guests enter the door.
