I love the work but hate the workplace. The company is so disorganized it's a wonder we're still in business. The culture is top-down to the point of being patronizing. Job functions and expectations are not clearly communicated. Men have disproportionate amounts of organizational power.

Our exec team is diverse, and most are attuned to what's going on in their departments.

The managers who evaluated me seemed to really value me as a person beyond what I could offer to the company.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Executives must know what employees in their department do everyday. They must listen to us and architect the organization in response. They must also accept that it is their role to accept and organize feedback even if it isn't precisely quantitative or rigorously presented.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Our audit quality has drastically declined with the increase in contractors, and it's only a matter of time before it starts losing us business. Our training needs to be accurate to our current processes, updated frequently, and understanding that this is a high-skill job that takes time to learn.
