Value your employees through genuine recognition, one-on-one/skip level discussions, & team building activities...even if needing to be conducted virtually. Grant time to employees to invest in and focus on personal development. Value, promote, & reward quality work, not speed which leads to rework.

When you hire four first-time VP executives, coach them to deliver against business KPIs, not optimize for optics. Mindsets from 1996 don’t scale well into 2026. Too much politics and posturing, not enough execution. BAU

They need to understand how the Gen AI products work, what lawyers do/how they would use them, stop approving overlapping projects and projects that are pointless, and ensure that data science groups aren't working on problems that other groups in DS have already solved.

Honestly, one factor is the cost of living in this city. As expenses have increased, my current compensation doesn’t feel as aligned with the market or my financial needs. At the same time, I also want my compensation to reflect the contribu

Technical Lead working better with team that lead is leading and treating as a peer versus a resource and allowing team to contribute to direction, etc., via discussions with lead to bring to the discussions w/ others outside the team. Seems more of a top down push than a collaboration.

Be good listeners and open to input other than their own. Think broadly about the work they do and if/how it impacts the work others are doing or have done. Collaborate with team members to validate a planned approach to a solution, in case there is a more optimal way to implement the solution.

Some lack accountability, some lack initiative and some are just not suited to build modern solutions. coworkers with deeper experience would be better

More collaboration. Feels that only a chosen few are actually listened to and remaining are treated like contractors or resources and not contributors.

More transparency and be clear about how decisions are made; Admit mistakes; Make decisions consistent with our values; Reward learning, not just success; Hold managers accountable for team health, not just results; Reduce middle/micro management; Protect our quality & ethics standards/diversity

We have shifted away from work-life balance, especially with the rise of AI. People are being "unofficially" encouraged to spend more of their off time doing work with AI to get ahead, sometimes being told that "the best engineers spend their nights working"

A Leader that genuinely care about the success of every personn on their Team. There are too many EGO in the top management who like the sound of their own voice and no one seems to listen. People still work in silo and often say this is not part of my JD

STREAMLINE. There is no bank of candidates that the whole company seems to pull from, you just apply for one job and if you don't get it then you have to re-apply instead of being passed to a different group. There is also NO FOLLOW UP if you do not pass the interview. That leaves a bad impression.

Feeling more as a contributor versus someone on the sidelines as merely a resource.

Our organization is intricately complex which requires thorough planning/execution/delivery. Leadership is driving toward rapid execution/delivery, which results in solutions that are not scalable, cause rework, or unusable. Eliminate mayhem & value methodologies/processes that fit our complex org.

I don't feel my work is being recognized as it should; I don't feel valued by my managers. I'm doing some tasks that I'm not supposed to do.

Stronger benefit offerings, particularly related to health care coverage. Would like to also see more investment in workplace culture across the org.
