Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There is no attention to retention of quality, trained employees, and there are no educational opportunities offered. It feels like we are all viewed as easily replaceable.
doesnt offer paid holidays, expected to use PTO for holidays off even if the office is closed.
Having been here for multiple decades, as a clinician, I currently make less than my new grad counterparts even though I hold multiple certifications, do more caseload work, and have a spotless record. Also, time off around holidays more than once every 10 years is necessary.
For my job discription and the duties a perform my base wage is 15% below market value. Market adjustment and respecable cost of living raises will go a long way to retaining talent! Also retirement match is horrid.
my recent research shows im paid well under market value. low wage for my position coupled with less than modest raises over the last few years despite satisfactory performance
