They are there for me whenever I need them

They completely understand me as a photographer and a human being. And that is very hard to find these days.

Get rid of the silos. There is no accountablity.

Co workers are easy going and love kids; all hard working people. Managers are iffy, some are really good at what they do and some have no idea what they are doing.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

For the amount of work I'm required to do In my job I belive I am definitely underpaid and have zero benefits so I belive all employees with 1 year of service or more should receive benefits also I am cross trained in every program lifetouch offers yet I have never received a pay increase for this

More money and better management

Immefaiate action instead of fighting for what I need

Low salaries as compared to industry and region, I received a 25K bump in pay when I moved to another company in the same role.

I absolutely felt undervalued the entire last 5 out of 7 years I worked at Lifetouch.

What are some of the best things about your team?

The Studio staff is great.

Always willing to help out and give guidance and help.

The small talks and jokes. That was it.

Everyone i have worked with has a bright bubbly personality, mostly for the kids

Everyone is nice, looka put for each other, constantly teaching one another and they stick together

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Don't throw away the season employees because they become a certain age as long as they can still perform their duties they should not be disregarded

Management is a huge issue mostly due to inexperienced people having photo manager positions who refuse to acknowledge or listen experienced field photographers with mire experience I've seen this the most in the LW area so I'd say management needs to be looked into with better communication

Im not sure because since Shutterfly bought Lifetouch, there is little to no communication about what is going on.

When the job bags are fully stocked on what we need, sometimes they dont and we have to scramble to get what we need

A faster and nicer approach. It's a minimum wage job and workers are judged too harshly

Over promise and under deliver.

Leadership doesn't appreciate or show loyalty to their employees.

staff!!! phone numbers to real people at anytime of day to pay for hotel room instead of me. or sleeping in cars on jobs

Customers need to learn that not every photo will be perfect and to stop yelling and forcing kids to do photos if the child it in literal tears... and management needs to be more mindful of employees time.
