I've had a good experience over all in my year with Longhorn. I've enjoyed management and the guests. Fun place to work but if your co-workers don't pull their weight and help out it can be stressful if it's busy.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The questions weren't second degree like some places.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are very hands on and truly care about their employees.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The restaurant itself is very cozy and inviting. The managers really take an interest and are very hands on.
What makes you most happy at work?
Definitely the customers. It's very rewarding when guests leave having had a great experience and you were directly involved.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Tips are great but you can't get benefits unless you are full time and they make it a point to keep you under full time.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Personally the team at my location is lacking. There is little to no team work, everyone only worries about themself/their own work and it can make the job very frustrating on a busy night when you pull others weight too. They are all friendly at least.
