What did you like most about the interview process?The interview itself was wonderful. Those I met with were friendly, professional, and upbeat.
What makes you most happy at work?The immediate managers and team leads tend to understand the challenges and successes. They are easy to provide accolades when appropriate.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?The "worker bees" tend to work well together. There is a solidarity in the trenches. There are often team building moments to bring folks together.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?Listening to employees, and being willing to concede or compromise. Being willing to compensate long term employees and reward tenure. Dealing with staffing issues, and replacing exiting positions instead of forcing absorption of the work.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?Understanding the common person and what matters to them.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?The constant negativity from the management team. If you work 10 hours should be 12 hours, etc. Nothing is good. One manager berated one of his team members right in front of the team. This is not some one off, it is more the norm.
