
There is nothing they can do. They are apathetic because they can’t affect the change required to make it a healthy organization.
They don’t pay technology folks at the same rate paid in the marketplace. It’s not he core business and they don’t value it because IT overhead takes away from profit.
McKesson doesn’t value technology. They bought a hodge lodge of healthcare tech companies because they had a footprint in the market and wanted to grow their astronomic drug profits, which don’t reflect any other Marketplace.
They don’t do anything but protect themselves. The technology side oof the business has been shrinking, not growing. Everyone keeps their head down to survive. Slow business growth means little job growth, marginal raises, and yearly RIFs. It’s a toxic environment.
