
Stop penalizing for sick days.
Motivation, everyone. Myself included, is always looking for an out.
I rarely see them and only have to concern myself with email correspondence.
The PTO, however due to our attendance policy I get penalized for sick days.
I would be more straightforward and interview people for the job they applied for and not the one your looking to fill that day.
Restructure teams so there is enough work to keep everyone busy so I'm not competing with my own team to try to leave early because I have nothing to do.
