Create real relationships, not everything has to be work.
Our Leadership team has a great mixture of personalities: "By the Book" and "Stern but empathetic."
They are very hands on.
They seem to know what they are doing and are experienced. They aren't too overbearing.
Umm u don't wanna know but bad
they seem patient with an aged employee
In the westover store, all managers are awesome buy the GM, Mark... he's not a good Manger at all. He plays favorites, and does fix any problem.
Those in leadership set a good example by working hard.
Training is good and overall a fun job
The leadership team at my store have a great sense of humor and always will take time to talk with you.
most of them are very relatable and personable
Most of the managers are very great and helpful
I think the best leadership skill is Communication
They are plite people and friendly
Very open door approach. Reasonable to deal with.
They excel at showing you what's expected verses telling you
Their on the job as far as when you make a mistake
Easy to get along with, positive and encouraging. They are eager to train and develop team members for long-term careers with Menard’s?
Review from Sales Dept
open to talking to team members
Menards is a great place to work.
Treat people the way they want to be treated instead of like something beneath them
Needs to work better at alowing highscoolers or people still finishing school to have a accomidated shifts and hours that work for them and the company
Review from Customer Support Dept
Being professional. Not micromanage. Support growth
Leadership needs to get better at communicating with employees. Leadership needs to stop abusing power and authority.
Lead by example and hold up the rules nobody follows the policy
People skills, with employees and customers
Our management team needs to actually take care of our stores needs, example would be more help. We currently work with half the people we need and then are overloaded and overwhelmed with all the required tasks. All the while, the management won't help out.
Treating employees like adults. Stop screaming at them in front of customers
Review from Sales Dept
Directly communicating with people that they have issues with And actually caring about their employees
Taking care of the team, sincerity and culture.
take our feelings seriously when i comes to harassment
Learn to be leaders and not dictators
Knowing some goals are unrealistic
Communication skills and being friendly with employees
People skills. Remember who it is that make them all that money
They need to accept the fact (as well as all companies and corporations now a days), that teams can't be run efficiently on skeleton crews... The bare minimum isn't even the bare minimum to them. It's "What can we scrap at the bottom of the barrel to add as gravy to our profit margins this year?".
Understabding that their employees have lives, communicate more, and just simply have respect.
Communication and learning what they preach/ policy and legal matters before just signing paperwork in someone else name when it is legally binding
Everything. They need to learn how to treat pregnant women with restrictions. Treat me as if im lying about everything even when i passed out in the bathroom
Leadership and actually working instead of walking around
