What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

Treat people the way they want to be treated instead of like something beneath them

Needs to work better at alowing highscoolers or people still finishing school to have a accomidated shifts and hours that work for them and the company

Review from Customer Support Dept

Being professional. Not micromanage. Support growth

Leadership needs to get better at communicating with employees. Leadership needs to stop abusing power and authority.

Lead by example and hold up the rules nobody follows the policy

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

I don't think there should be a test for a ten cent raise.

Maybe if they bothered to support your success instead of focused on how to destroy you, diminish you and overwork you.

Living wage+ Responsibility and longevity

The manager takes over any time a customer places an order that would give a team member any type of generous commission. He specifically comes in on his days off to essentially steal from his employees.

Review from Sales Dept

better health insurance for employees at affordable rates

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Team Reviews

They need to be trained better thats all. However the managers dont train them i had to.

Working harder and be a team

They need leadership and team membership

Most of them are fine to work with

Review from Customer Support Dept

People need to actually do their work.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Environment Reviews

Need more good staff they are so rude

Managers following policies and stop blaming one person

better management, better leadership, consistency.

Retrain people how to interact with their employees because the unprofessionalism and cruelty some of us experience on a daily basis makes it impossible to want to do a good job for them.

Review from Sales Dept

ive been bullied more and more by department leads for awhile

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Interviews Reviews

Potential employees need to know upfront if there will be more than one interview. Orientation needs to be the full length not cut by one and a half hours

Not the focal topic point for this feedback

Be up front about what the job entails

Ask more interrogative questions to people

To have a private room to shut out the noise to talk to people.

Review from Product Dept

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Outlook Reviews

General manager not following policy

The Menards Company is behind in almost every area, with outdated products and decor, as well as outdated technology. Systems need to be redone entirely to make it more efficient. Menard's target market is in their 60s or older and unless they update, they won't survive as a company.

To much negative and favoritism and hear say

Process changes. Understanding state and federal laws that protect the employees and then abide by them. Support systems for employees that create a place that people want to work at.

poor general manager training in handling terminations. threatening to call the police does not help
