I enjoy the nature of my work. The project that I am a part of is cutting edge. My boss is phenomenal and does not micromanage. I do not feel very involved but that is mainly due to COVID. Pay is decent but could be better. Coffee could be much better, that is the life blood of productive employees

more involvement, been tough with remote work but I hardly know anyone

very little collaboration, everyone is in silos, Japanese corporate culture favors expats

Haven't been here long enough to make accurate assessment, could be more diverse

Don't know any of them, been here 7 months and no one higher than my manager has made an effort to communicate with me.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Compensation level for a senior level position with a very specific skill set, with 8 years experience as you struggle to find people with similar experience and skills.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There isn't anything really, its an office. I know very few people outside of my team, and very few people actively try and engage outside of that. Management seems aloof and does not engage with employees besides direct subordinates.
