Misumi is miserable. They make poor business decision, ignore reasonable suggestions to improve then punish everyone for the plan not working.

Providing raises, bonuses and promotion based on merit

the work environment is extremely toxic, Misumi has no regard for work/life balance

i exceed goals and my compensation is lower than others who have done less, no opportunities for growth or promotion

unrealistic goals, no support from executive team, -provide realistic goals and work this us to achieve them, provide opportunities for advancement

the mindset of the company and especially the executive leadership team, they promote unhealthy work practices, pit employees against each other, and bicker constantly amongst themselves, change the unprofessional work environment

Paid Maternity Leave, better 401K and benefits, raises based on performance instead of a popularity contest, if your boss is bad at their job or does not like you, regardless of your performance you will not get a good raise

Encourage personal growth, and provide actual opportunities for advancement with reasonable expectations and goals, focus on providing a healthy work/life balance, reduce spending on unnecessary inperson national meetings, and long shot projects, put it towards your employees, pay bonus in Apr

Company culture, lack of opportunities, poor feedback -not constructive or helpful, inability to provide a "pat on the back" without adding a negative comment, it would be great if the company worked with employees created a promotion track vs. random and differing criteria from various managers

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Better training, better management, better front and back end processes, higher retention rates-employees do not stay long enough to get to know them or to properly learn Misumi, Management makes it clear that they do not care about their employees or their work/life balance, only statistics matter

Entire company culture needs to change -too many drastic changes with poor results, communication with employees are minimal and speaking out is a great way to get targeted for reprisals, management says they want to change but doesn't, they ask for feedback then target anyone who speaks negatively

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Poor management, lack of opportunities, constant outside hires to management positions who dont have the experience necessary to lead and promote growth, lack of respect, pay bonus /raise no more than a month after end of year, management is often talking but does not take time to listen
