It's been a great rid so far, and it's one that I hope continues for a long time. In my time here I've always been challenged with new opportunities to do different things, which ensures that I'm always learning, contributing, and reinventing myself. I'm excited to help us achieve success.
I'm proud to be a member of the MISUMI family. We have had our fair share of ups and downs but we have stayed true to our culture and our commitment to each other and our customers.
We are continually focused on growth and continuous improvement. We do our best to focus on the customer and making sure there's a great customer experience. We also believe in transparency
It's fair and it's a nice mix of options to choose from. It's not common that companies offer 4 medical plan options, but ours does. This makes us stand out against other employers in the area.
That I get to do something different every day. I also get to take on new and challenging projects that help me to think differently and creatively. I love that I get to learn and grow every day!
Our leadership team has continued on the path of transparency and openness, even during the uncertainty of tariffs. It's exactly for this reason that I have confidence in our leadership team and know that we will continue on a winning path.
I have the BEST coworkers. I wouldn't swap them for anyone. I've been in some companies where the relationships are neutral at best, toxic at worst. Not here. At Misumi, everyone cares about each other, especially within my team.
Open and honest conversations about what's working well and what's not working well. And, how I can help make things better. I wasn't sold a bill of goods - I was told very openly about what areas needed the most attention and it's why I'm still here.
We play to win. We are aggressive in our growth goals, and are equally committed to maintaining a caring, family-like environment. We confront challenges, talk through solutions, and work to always make things better. And, we never take our eye off the ball of creating a great atmosphere.
We have an amazing leadership team. They are passionate about leading, communicating, and most importantly, being transparent. We have several company events each year, and monthly town halls in which the CEO and Head of HR tell us what's going, both good and bad. We trust them to be honest.
The company's leaders continually strive to be transparent in their communications, regardless of if the news is good or bad. We have monthly Town Halls where a lot of information is shared, and the leaders have individual department meetings to talk to their eployees. They also do a lot of 1x1s.
We are like a family that is cohesive, works well together, and genuinely care about each other on a personal level. I've never had camaraderie to this extent and it's a real difference-maker when i consider my MISUMI experience. Everyone also cares about the rest of the employees in the company.
The interviewers ask relevant questions to see if I had what it took to do the job. They asked good, probing questions by creating an inviting environment that made it very easy to open up. They were very transparent about working at the company, and encouraged me to interview them too!
What I like best about my compensation package is that it's exactly that: a package. It's not just about my base. Or my bonus. Or my benefits. It's all of those, plus a great company culture, unlimited opportunities to learn, and a generous paid time off package. It's a great collection!
It's a fair mix of base pay, bonuses, and benefits. On top of that, the company hosts numerous events throughout the year that bring people together to interact on a social level. We do between 6 and 10 of these and year, and they make a real difference in our relationships with coworkers.
I have worked on several teams during my career, and I can honestly say that this is the best team I've worked with. We have a terrific leader with a strong vision. Tough but fair, and allows us to be our best. And, we have each others' backs, which makes for a great environment.
That I get the chance to make a difference every day and that I get to do it with people i like and respect. We are a company going through very dynamic times, and I'm excited about what the future holds. I love that we can impact the business and the culture at the same time.
We do a lot of things as a company. We have informal team building events throughout the year. We have donuts every pay day. We have lunches to welcome new hires. Monthly Town Halls to keep employees informed. Family events at the baseball stadium. Top Golf. And a formal dinner to end the year!
I enjoy the daily challenges of my job, but most of all I enjoy the people I work with. Not only the people in my department, but all the employees with whom I interact. We are just the right size that we can know everyone by first name. It often feels like one big extended family.
