    HR is pretty inconsistent. Some HR reps will throw you under the bus or paint a target on your back, while others are more diplomatic and interested in protecting employees who make complaints in good faith.

    Passive-aggressive - your manager is the first line to deliver HR issues and you're expected to use that channel and HR tags in to deliver the "coup de grace"
