How's the work pace at Newell Brands?
Unrealistic. The pace is such an issue that nobody cares if they get things done because it is impossible to do so.
What are the team outings like at Newell Brands?
What are team outings? They don't exist.
What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining Newell Brands?
I didn't have a choice. Newell bought my company. I wish I had started looking for another job sooner.
How's the morale at Newell Brands?
Awful. Simply awful. At least 1/2 the company is looking to leave.
How much diversity is there among employees at Newell Brands?
Not much. What there was, was based on quotas and felt very unnatural.
What's the office layout like at Newell Brands?
In my division it was old, moldy carpet and crumbling cubicles. It was not a layout that would spur creativity or collaboration. Plus it was filthy. The bathrooms smelled all the time.

How flexible is your work schedule at Newell Brands?
You can work anytime between 3am and midnight. It's not flexible.

I don't know
How innovative is Newell Brands?
Not at all innovative considering the amount of investment and time poured into the innovation process. The process yields very few significant achievements. More than that, the process has not been able to grow sales. It is burdened with too much bureaucracy and too many touch points. The process relies far too much on centralized resources which are spread too thin.

How would you compare interviewing at Newell Brands to other places you've interviewed?
About the same. The interviewers weren’t very well prepared.
How helpful was your Sales team when you were first hired at Newell Brands?
The Sales team is very demanding and highly critical. Working with the Sales team has been a demeaning experience.
