NEXT Trucking Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Annual bonuses, company 401k matching

Review from Product Dept

401k match which is rare for a tech startup!

Review from Product Dept

The 401k match is better than most companies in LA. WFH stipend is enough to cover a new desk and a decent chair.

base and benefits are good but my bonus seems unclear at this point.

Headquarters is a dog friendly office

Unlimited paid time off/ vacation.

The salary and health benefits

401k and matching, great benefits for my family for medical, dental, and vision

Pay and vacation - med benefits

being vested in the company's success

The bonus aspect is great, but I am worried we will not hit our company goal which accounts for 80% of it.

Review from HR Dept

I believe I am compensated fairly and also feel that I can have an open conversation with my manager about my salary. I also believe that the Leaders want to be competitive in the market and will adjust compensation accordingly if warranted.

Review from HR Dept

equity, choice of health benefits, great snacks and meals, Friday happy hours

Review from HR Dept

The base salary and potential bonus

Review from Product Dept

The compensation at NEXT is fair and transparent.

Review from HR Dept

some loads are low pay.

More money and free time

Compensation is not transparent and promises of stock, bonus, and commission are made with no follow through.

Better compensation for the amount of work I do

The salary I was offered was based on my title, but I've been expected to— and do— far outperform my title, going above and beyond normal output. I was also

Review from Product Dept

I am a new hire and role/job function has changed already without any title or pay change. I would feel better if my compensation would match my title and job function.

I feel that I am constantly training people without experience how to perform tasks that do their job in addition to accomplishing my own goals and trying to meet my own KPIs.

Standardization of salary across departments/teams. Visibility into what others at similar levels (aggregated and anonymous, of course) are being paid to benchmark current salary.

We generally pay lower than most companies our size and give lower equity.

I don't feel undervalued at all
