After ~1.5 yrs. of being micromismanaged I finally feel as though I am really connected to the company. Unfortunately he's only interim, so it remains to be seen how his replacement will be. There are a lot of good people here, so I hope to be here for several more years.

Having equity is motivating in terms of thinking about how to make the product better.
What are some of the best things about your team?
People seem to genuinely care about doing good work. They generally seem to be kind and thoughtful. They're also open-minded.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They seem to be thoughtful about being good stewards of our cash reserves, they also seem to be taking a longer view.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like when I get the chance to work on challenging problems and feel as though I am doing something useful or learning something new.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I like that we have a diverse workforce. There don't seem to be any techbro types here. I like working with people from different cultures and I like that my team isn't monochromatic. This is the most diverse place I've ever worked.
